Yevgeny Prigozhin, leader of Russian mercenary group Wagner, listed as passenger in deadly plane crash

Russian state media announced that Yevgeny Prigozhin was aboard a plane that crashed in Russia killing 10 people. Prigozhin led the Russian mercenary group Wagner, which staged an armed mutiny against Moscow in June. After Wagner’s armed mutiny in Russia, the group was moved to Belarus, but continued to operate in Africa, among other locations.
