New retail premises Bill proposed to aid in fairer lease negotiations

SINGAPORE – A new Bill was read in Parliament on Tuesday to mandate compliance with the Code Of Conduct (the Code) for leasing of retail premises in Singapore, which sets out guidelines enabling fairer lease negotiations between landlords and tenants of retail premises.
