North-South, East-West MRT lines to get AI-powered system to help improve reliability by end-2024

SINGAPORE – An artificial intelligence-based system that is able to identify issues that disrupt rail operations, like train doors not closing properly, will be introduced on the North-South and East-West MRT lines by the end of 2024.
